AM Woke up with the leg feeling okay so I ran for 30 minutes (3.5 miles). Then went to PT. Leigh worked on my leg (basically massaging the hamstring) after heating it for 10 minutes. Then after 10 minutes on the bike I did the stretching exercises then iced the leg for 10 minutes. It was an excellent appointment and I have a lot of confidence that things are going to get better.
Hey Dave, I have been going to see Leigh since I started PT for my knee back in August. She saved my running career. I also go and see her still when leg issues come up. She is really really good and will fix you. You will be really sore for a while, but after a few days you will feel much better. Tell Leigh I said hi :)

ReplyDeleteHey Pat, I love the blogger profile name. Your name came up today as Leigh was working on my leg. She is really cool and is helping me out big time. I am really encouraged about recovering from this leg issue. I neglected to stretch for many years and vow to do what it takes to get back.
