After all the recent zombie talk with DD and the possibility that they may exist around Stiles Pond, I thought it might be fun to see who is a fan of The Zombies. Check out these albums and see if you have a favorite and comment if you wish.
My personal favorite is "Tell Her No" off the album Best of The Zombies. I have a feeling this may not be as controversial as my recent rant but I hope Double J responds because I know he is a big fan of music.

Ok, I'm sorry but as a fan of music I have a rant... You cannot possibly throw out a 'best of' compilation as an album that is included in a list or poll of 'best' or favorite albums...while it may be your favorite, I think it breaks the rules ;). Best of's will always be off limits when it comes to 'Best of' album lists (may seem counterintuitive but it's true). That said, the Zombies 2nd album (but first US release)(self-titled 'The Zombies') has your favorite + (arguably) their best song 'She's Not There'...

I made my decision based on the video. I do feel that "She's Not There" IS their best song but I happened to like the video concept of "Tell Her No" and the fact that the lead singer looks a lot like Casey Moulton.

haha... Look at the header on my blog. The kid walking up the hill behind me with his hands in his pocket also looks like Casey Moulton. I've even told him this :).
ReplyDeleteIn other words, I realize that "Tell Her No" was released on an earlier album, but in the interest of the entry I Just mentioned The Best of The Zombies. Next time I will be more accurate.
